Osh State University to Collaborate with Leading Chinese Companies
On April 28, a delegation from Osh State University, headed by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, met with representatives from 11 major companies visiting from China, organized by the Central Asian Chamber of Industry of Guangdong Province.
Earlier in April, during a working trip to China, Kozhobekov’s delegation held meetings with the leadership of the Chamber and visited several prominent Chinese enterprises. During these meetings, Osh State University presented its strategic plans in education, scientific research, and production, sparking strong interest from the companies in potential collaboration.
Following the visit, the Chinese delegation familiarized themselves with Osh State University's major construction projects, including a new medical clinic. Both sides discussed launching several new initiatives, establishing joint ventures, and advancing the university’s development toward becoming a "University 4.0." They also outlined the framework for future collaboration.
It was agreed that formal cooperation agreements with companies from Guangdong Province would be signed at a later stage.
