Successful performance by OshSU students
Osh State University students successfully competed in international freestyle wrestling competitions. Aibike Amangeldieva (61 kg), a student at the Industrial and Pedagogical College of Osh State University, took first place, while Symbat Saibilla Kyzy (49 kg) took second place.
13 October, the college community gave the athletes a warm welcome.
Eight teams took part in the international competition. Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won one gold, two silver and three bronze medals. We are honoured that Aibike and Symbat are among them. I can say that great success awaits them in the future," said their coach, Osh State University lecturer Mamarasul kyzy Altynai.
The sporting event took place on 10–11 October in Baku, Azerbaijan.
