The organizational structure and staffing of the department is determined by the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated November 20, 2015 No. 788 "On approval of the standard staffing of organizations of secondary and higher professional education of the system of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic." The employees of the department are appointed to the corresponding positions by the rector on the proposal of the head of the department.

The department is staffed with employees with higher professional education (legal) and work experience in the specialty for at least 1 year.

The staff of the Department consists of the following employees: head of department, lawyer

The department performs the following general functions:

  • Ensures compliance with the rule of law in the activities of the university;
  • Develops projects of regulatory legal acts of the university;
  • Conducts examination and editing of projects of normative legal acts of the university submitted for examination;
  • Represents, in the order established by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the interests of the university in court and in other state bodies when considering legal issues;
  • Carries out an inventory of university acts;
  • Participates in the development of draft contracts and normative legal acts governing economic relations,
  • takes measures to ensure the timely and correct conclusion of business contracts,
  • accounting for the fulfillment of contractual obligations
