Events
iTalks Caravan Takes Place at OshSU
The “iTalks” Caravan is being held at Osh State University as part of the “Youth Voice: Listen, See, Analyze” project.
The two-day event, scheduled for September 18–19, is organized by IDEA Central Asia and brings together university students. During the training, participants are gaining practical knowledge in media literacy, critical thinking, fact-checking, journalism, and SMM. They are also developing their skills in photo and video production, storytelling, and effective communication with audiences.
Participants are learning how to work with reliable sources, analyze information in the media, and identify misinformation. A debate tournament is also being held as part of the event, giving students an opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice and defend their positions with arguments.
The “iTalks” Caravan aims to develop young people’s ability to correctly perceive and analyze information while strengthening their skills to act safely and responsibly in the digital environment.
