Osh State University and Russian University of Sport “GTSOLIFK” Establish Scientific and Technical Cooperation
Scientific and technical cooperation is being established between Osh State University and the Russian University of Sport “GTSOLIFK”. From July 1 to July 5, 2024, participants in the research project “Assessment of the physical status of children and adults considering constitutional, ethnic, gender, and age factors in modern Kyrgyzstan” from the Department of Normal and Topographic Anatomy with the course of human constitutional typology at the Medical Faculty of Osh State University, completed a scientific internship at the Department of Anatomy and Biological Anthropology of the Russian University of Sport “GTSOLIFK”. This project is funded by a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2024-2026 and is supervised by Associate Professor K.Sh. Sakibaev.
During the scientific trip, an official meeting was held with the university administration to discuss establishing scientific and technical cooperation between the universities. Participants also underwent advanced training in the course “Sports Anthropology” and attended practical master classes on anthropometric and bioimpedance research methods, led by leading experts.
The Russian University of Sport “GTSOLIFK” is the largest higher education institution in Russia and internationally in the field of physical culture and sports. The university has trained over 60,000 highly qualified specialists, including approximately 5,000 foreign specialists from 115 countries. Among its students and graduates are more than 200 Olympic, European, and world champions.
Notably, Russian University of Sport “GTSOLIFK” serves as the CIS’s foundational organization for enhancing educational, methodological, expert-analytical, and personnel support in physical culture and sports activities.
