On the 26th anniversary of the Batken conflict, the Financial and Legal College of Osh State University hosted a military-patriotic event under the title “No One and Nothing Will Be Forgotten.”
The event was organized by the college’s faculty and aimed to promote patriotism, civic responsibility, and respect for national heroes among students.
The ceremony brought together teachers, students, Afghan War veterans, representatives of the South-Western Operational Command, the military orchestra, a special reconnaissance company, and dog handlers from the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security, who demonstrated the skills of their trained service dogs.
Speaking at the event, retired Colonel Mahmud Abdiabaitov and Lieutenant Colonel Zhumanazar Samidinov noted that the gathering was held in a spirit of deep respect and gratitude to the heroes of the Batken conflict. They emphasized the importance of passing on the memory of their courage and devotion to the younger generation.
The event served as a reminder of the heroism and unity displayed during the Batken conflict and underscored the continuing importance of patriotism and national solidarity in today’s society.
