On December 11, the Faculty of Theology held a literary event dedicated to the Literature Day.
The event, titled “Literature as a Source of Values,” was organized to familiarize students with national and world literary heritage.
As part of the program, students performed artistic readings from the works of prominent poets and presented theatrical performances based on classical literary works. Special attention was given to the recitation of excerpts from the epic “Manas,” which reflects the spiritual and cultural values of the Kyrgyz people.
Addressing the participants, the Dean of the Faculty, Niyazaly Aripov, highlighted the importance of literature in shaping moral values and spiritual consciousness. He called on students to actively engage with literary works and to respect the cultural heritage passed down through generations.
Kurmanzhan Narmyrzaeva, Associate Professor of Osh State University and Head of the Expert Group of the Terminological Commission for the Osh region, also spoke at the event. She emphasized the relevance of national literature in modern society and its significant role in the upbringing and education of youth.
