Nurzat Ismailova Celebrates 25 Years in Sports
A ceremony was held to mark the 25th anniversary of Nurzat Ismailova’s career in sports and education. She is the head coach of the women’s “University” club and a senior lecturer at Osh State University.
As part of the event, a volleyball tournament was organized among women’s teams from districts of Osh region, with nine teams taking part. In the end, the Kara-Suu team became the winner.
The event was attended by the university’s rector, Kudayberdi Kozhobekov, faculty members, students, and representatives of the sports sector. In his speech, the rector emphasized that Ismailova’s achievements in sports demonstrate her diligence and professionalism. She was awarded the badge “Distinguished Worker of Osh State University” and received gifts.
Nurzat Ismailova is a holder of the titles “Master of Sports” and “Excellence in Physical Education and Sports.” The women’s “University” club she coaches has become the country’s champion three times and has won the President of the Volleyball Federation Cup four times.
