Lecturers of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication returned from the international winter school “Education and Development: Looking Ahead and Practicing International Cooperation” held in Egypt.

The event took place from January 8 to 16 and was attended by lecturers Seydankhan Alimbayeva, Karachach Duvanaeva, Gulmira Zheenbekova, and Venera Sabirova.

Leading experts from various countries shared their experience in modern trends in education, innovative teaching methods, and the development of international cooperation. Future directions for the development of the education sector were also discussed, and practical recommendations were provided.

The cultural program was also rich and varied. Participants observed the panorama of the Giza Pyramids and visited the Grand Egyptian Museum. Learning about the history of ancient civilizations became an unforgettable experience for them.

In addition, the lecturers went diving in the Red Sea and took part in a desert safari. They also learned about the life and customs of Bedouins living in the Arab part of the Sinai Peninsula and participated in a traditional national dinner. The winter school provided an excellent opportunity to enhance professional competencies, gain international experience, and strengthen intercultural ties.
