OshSU Football Team Holds Training Camp in Tashkent
The football club of Osh State University “OshSU” is holding a training camp in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from January 15 to 30. The camp is organized in preparation for the 2026 season.
In the new season, the team will compete in the Kyrgyz Premier League. This year, 16 clubs will participate, and the VAR video replay system will be used in all matches. The system was introduced to improve fairness in the game.
Nemat Koshokov has been appointed as the head coach of the club. During his playing career, he represented Ak-Altin, Dynamo (Osh), Neftchi, and Ak-Buura. After retiring as a player, he worked as a youth coach at the A. Momunov Football Academy and in the technical department of the Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan. In the late 2010s, he was part of the coaching staff of Alay.
