Representatives of Osh State University participated in the “Digital Marketing and E-commerce” training organized within the framework of an international program between Kyrgyzstan and South Korea.

The training was held on January 16–17 by the public foundation «CACSARC-KG», with support from the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy, and the National Commission for UNESCO Affairs in Kyrgyzstan.

Participants from OshSU included Erlan Kamalov, Director of the Business Park; Zura Turdubaeva, Associate Professor of the Drawing and Labor Department and designer; lecturers Elina Moldokulova and Gulzada Zhorobekova from the Industrial-Pedagogical College; and graduate designer Ayturgan Turdubaeva.

The training covered topics such as promoting traditional handicrafts through digital marketing, utilizing e-commerce opportunities, developing the creative economy, and boosting cultural tourism. Practical recommendations were also provided on creating handicraft and design startups and developing market-oriented business models.

The event allowed participants to exchange experience with international experts and explore ways to strengthen cooperation between universities, businesses, and creative industries. It was conducted within the framework of the “Official Development Assistance (ODA) for Development” international program, aimed at promoting traditional handicrafts production, marketing them through digital platforms, and enhancing cultural tourism.
