OshSU Students Win at “Startup EXPO - 2026” Exhibition
On January 24, teams of students from the Kyrgyz Philology Department of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication participated in the “Startup EXPO - 2026” exhibition held at the “Sapat” International Educational Institution.
A total of 18 teams took part in the event, presenting their social and economic projects to a panel of judges. As a result, the project “World of Fairy Tales,” prepared by students Zarina Zulpukaarova and Shamsiyabonu Najmidinova from the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, was recognized as the winner. The organizers awarded them USD 200.
The “World of Fairy Tales” project presents puppet theater performances to preschool children and primary school students. The project is conducted in the Kyrgyz language and contributes to promoting the language.
“Our youth have great potential. Initiatives like this open significant opportunities for students to successfully implement various projects in the future,” said Associate Professor Baktygul Baitikova, who guided the students for the event.
The event was organized to support young innovators’ ideas and to introduce startup projects to the public.
