Guest Lecture on University Publication Activity Held at Osh State University
On February 13, Osh State University hosted a guest lecture on the topic “Publication Activity of Universities – A Contribution to the Development of National Scientific Potential.”
The lecture was delivered by Nurlan Birimkulov, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Professor at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev.
During the lecture, key issues related to improving universities’ scientific publication indicators were discussed, including publishing articles in international scientific databases and enhancing the quality of research. Particular attention was given to the role of scientific publications in strengthening national scientific potential and increasing the global visibility of academic institutions.
The event was attended by graduate students, PhD candidates, and faculty members of the university. The lecture was organized by the postgraduate and doctoral studies sector at the initiative of Zholdoshbek Botonoev, Director of the Department of Science Development.
The meeting aimed to stimulate young researchers’ interest in scientific work and to promote the preparation of high-quality research that meets modern international standards.
