OshSU employees are participating in the “Den Sooluk” Spartakiad
More than 80 employees of Osh State University are taking part in the “Den Sooluk” Spartakiad held among faculty and staff members of higher education institutions across the country.
The competition is being held at the sports facilities of the “Kyrgyz Sea” sanatorium on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake. Participants are competing in volleyball, football, ordo, toguz korgool, table tennis, and streetball.
The Spartakiad began on June 24 and will conclude on June 30. This traditional event is organized annually by the “Jashtyk” Directorate. Its purpose is to promote physical education and sports among employees of Kyrgyzstan’s education sector and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
