Students received information about traditional Islam
A guest lecture was delivered for the students of the university's Faculty of Theology by Samagan Myrzaibraimov, Director of the Research Institute under the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
The lecture was devoted to the topic “The Concept of Traditional Islam and Its Application Possibilities in Kyrgyzstan.” During the lecture, the speaker provided information about the traditional directions of Islam, paying special attention to the characteristics of the Hanafi madhhab and the Maturidi creed. He also explained their historical significance, their role in society, and their possibilities for application in the present day.
The event was held in an interactive format, where students received answers to their questions. The lecture was organized with the aim of preventing religious extremism, strengthening moral values in society, and developing spiritual culture.
