Osh State University Announces PhD Admissions for 2024-2025 Academic Year
The available PhD programs are:

- 510200 Applied Mathematics and Computer Science
Document submission for doctoral studies at Osh State University will follow the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic’s order No. 987/1 dated 07/03/2024. The timeline is as follows:
- July 10 - August 25: Interview with the postgraduate and doctoral studies department to discuss the PhD program direction, and verify document availability and compliance.
- August 26 - August 31: Interview with program directors to determine the preliminary dissertation topic and expected scientific supervisors.
- September 1 - September 30: Acceptance of documents for doctoral studies (PhD).
- September 20 - September 30: Preparation of entrance exam programs, exam papers, and examination schedules by the relevant departments.
- October 1 - October 10: Conducting admissions tests.
Required documents for admission:
- Application addressed to the rector of Osh State University.
- Notarized copy of a higher education diploma with the qualification “master” or “specialist”.
- Translation and notarized copy of the relevant diploma, plus a certificate from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic confirming the level and content of educational documents from foreign institutions.
- Passport and military ID (for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic).
- Certified copy of the work book by the HR department.
- Personal personnel record sheet confirming work activity (if applicable).
- Four color photographs (3.5x4.5 cm).
- List of scientific and scientific-methodological works (if available).
- Consent to the guidance of future scientific supervisors (domestic and foreign).
- List of publications of future scientific supervisors over the past 5 years, including two publications in journals included in the SCOPUS and Web of Science systems.
- Copies of certificates confirming English language proficiency according to the common European competences (if available).
