Photo Exhibition of OshSU Professor Mamyraly Eshbaev Held in Bishkek
On July 4, a personal art exhibition titled “Koz Karash” by Osh State University professor Mamyraly Eshbaev was held in Bishkek. Celebrating the artist’s 65th birthday, the exhibition showcased 120 of his works. The event took place at the Kyrgyz National Art Museum named after Gapar Aitiev and was attended by representatives from the ministries of education and science, culture, information, sports, and youth policy, along with heads of higher educational institutions and notable artists. The team from the OshSU’s art department, led by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, was also present.
Mamyraly Eshbaev, a 65-year-old professor in the art department at Osh State University, is a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and Kyrgyzstan. Recognized for his contributions to culture and education, he has received numerous awards and accolades at prestigious exhibitions. In 2014, he held a personal exhibition in Bishkek to mark his 55th birthday.
Eshbaev was the pioneer in Central Asia to establish an educational and methodological museum featuring student works of Myrza Omorkulov, a people’s artist of Kyrgyzstan and professor at Osh State University. His artworks are housed in the Osh Regional Art Museum and the National Museum, and are also part of private collections in Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkey, India, Australia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
