Avasbek Shermatov Retires After Distinguished Career at OshSU

Avasbek Shermatov, a dedicated lecturer at the Faculty of Russian Physiology, has retired from Osh State University after a fruitful career, during which he devoted his youth, life, and hard work to the university. The rector, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, along with the university’s community and trade union under the administrative council, expressed their gratitude for his significant contributions to the education of students.

In recognition of his service, Shermatov received an award equivalent to one month’s salary, a badge of “Honored Worker of OshSU”, and a trip for two persons to sanatorium in Kochkor-Ata.

Shermatov graduated in 1977 from the Osh State Pedagogical Institute (now Osh State University) with a degree in Russian Language and Literature from the Faculty of Philology. He has been a member of OshSU since 2001.
