The XII International Conference “ACB-2024: Achievements and Problems of Biology” took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from December 16 to 20. Bolotbek Karimov, Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology, Ecology, and Bioengineering at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies of Osh State University, presented his research titled “Bioecology of Aquatic Plants of Kyrgyzstan.”
During his visit, Dr. Karimov established collaborative research agreements with the Faculty of Biology at Baku State University. Additionally, he worked jointly with Professor Muhammad Zafar from Quaid-i-Azam University in Pakistan, culminating in the announcement of a forthcoming article publication.
Professor Muhammad Zafar is a renowned scientist with over 13,000 citations and a Hirsch index of 60, underscoring his significant contributions to the field.
The conference brought together researchers from Pakistan, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Organized by Baku State University, which is ranked 951st in the QS World University Rankings, the event served as a platform for scientific exchange and international collaboration.
