“Umut” TV Studio Correspondent Recognized as “Best Young Journalist of the Year”
In the annual “Best of the Year” awards organized by the Osh City Youth Committee, Meerim Aitmamatova, a correspondent for Osh State University’s “Umut” TV Studio, earned the prestigious title of “Best Young Journalist of the Year - 2024.”
The award was presented by Osh Mayor Bakytbek Jetigenov during the New Year’s ball. Aitmamatova received this honor for her active involvement in Osh’s public life, her professional accomplishments, and her contributions to the development of the media sector.
The event also celebrated winners across 30 different categories, featuring an award ceremony followed by a vibrant concert and entertainment program.
Meerim Aitmamatova is the creator of several notable media projects, including the “StudLife” student program, the “Startup” business project series, the “Did You Know?” segment, and the “Umut” podcast.
