Dear Compatriots, Faculty Members, Staff, Esteemed Colleagues, and Beloved Students of Osh State University,

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of you on the arrival of the New Year 2025! This holiday, filled with dreams and aspirations, inspires us to set new goals and nurtures hope for brighter futures.

The past year has been a successful one. We witnessed the unwavering support of the state in education, scientific research, and sports. Our youth, empowered by this encouragement, are receiving quality education and making remarkable achievements on various fronts. Notably, during the Paris Olympics, our athletes represented our country with distinction, raising our flag high. Among them was our esteemed graduate, Munarbek Seyitbek uulu, whose success fills us with immense pride.

For Osh State University, 2024 has been a year of significant accomplishments. Our university’s reputation has grown both locally and internationally. The outcomes of our efforts, initiatives, and strategic goals are beginning to materialize. Notably, we celebrated the 85th anniversary of our esteemed institution this year. As a university with a special status, OshSU continues to integrate education, science, and production, establish modern production centers, and implement a dual education system.

During the 2023-2024 academic year, OshSU achieved “four stars” in the prestigious QS Stars university rankings. We ranked 260th among the top 984 universities in Asia and secured 13th place among 65 universities in Central Asia. Additionally, we claimed second place in the “IAAR Eurasian University Ranking (IAAR EUR) - 2024,” positioning us among the top three universities in Eurasia.

In our pursuit of enhancing the quality of education and creating better facilities for our students, several new buildings and clinics have been constructed, with ongoing projects well underway. Currently, a two-story training and production facility and a seven-story medical clinic are being built on the grounds of Lyceum No. 12. In the coming days, the Yiman Gymnasium’s new educational building and a kindergarten for 100 children will be inaugurated.

Looking ahead, plans include the construction of a nine-story student dormitory, an indoor sports complex within the dormitory campus, an underground parking facility at the veterinary laboratory, new educational buildings, a sports field, and a six-story IT park. These achievements and future projects would not have been possible without the dedication and contributions of each one of you.

May the New Year 2025 bring prosperity, harmony, and happiness to our nation. May it also bless each of you with vitality, inspiration, creativity, and success in all your endeavors.
