On March 7, Osh State University formalized three agreements aimed at environmental initiatives. The university signed memorandums with Osh Forestry and private entrepreneur Kozhomkulov Ramazan for the establishment of an “Innovative Nursery,” with the “Sulaiman-Too Museum Reserve” as part of the “Sulaiman-Too Park” project, and with “Osh State University – Arslanbap Eco” to promote ethno-ecotourism and industrial development.

Through the “Innovative Nursery” memorandum, Osh State University will supply seedlings to Osh city and the southern region, contributing to environmental improvement and urban greening.

The “Sulaiman-Too Park” initiative focuses on planting climate-resilient seedlings around the mountain, enhancing its greenery. The university will establish specialized nurseries to support reforestation and ecological restoration efforts in the area.

Under the “Osh State University – Arslanbap Eco” agreement, collaborative efforts will be directed towards preserving and restoring the ecology of the Arstanbap region.

These initiatives align with the state’s efforts to safeguard mountain ecosystems. Additionally, they reflect Osh State University’s broader mission, which integrates higher education, scientific research, production, and commercialization,” stated Abdyzhapar Akkulov, director of the university’s consulting center for Mountain Ecosystem Conservation and Green Innovations.
