In January, 20 teachers from the “Asia-Start” school-gymnasium in Osh attended a 72-hour specialized course at the Professional Development Center of Osh State University.
They participated in the course titled “Trends in Education: Student-Centered Learning”, where they expanded their theoretical and practical knowledge of modern teaching methods and educational technologies tailored to students’ individual characteristics and interests. Current trends in student-centered education and innovative pedagogical approaches were also discussed.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants were awarded state-recognized certificates.
The Professional Development Center holds a license to organize short-term courses for both teaching and non-teaching specialists. The center offers courses in first aid, culinary arts, sewing, massage, playing musical instruments, bartending and waiter skills, as well as in Kyrgyz, Russian, English, Arabic, German, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese languages.
Additionally, training is provided in areas such as preparation for the Unified National Testing (UNT), 1C accounting, computer graphics, programming, bookkeeping, informatics, public procurement, finance and taxation, applied decorative arts, mobile phone repair, technical maintenance, and business design.
