OshSU to Strengthen Security Measures
Security measures across Osh State University will be strengthened. A decision has been made to expand and upgrade video surveillance systems in academic buildings, dormitories, and colleges.
This was agreed upon during a working meeting on October 26 between representatives of OshSU’s Security Service and the management of the Eastern Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Security Service in Osh.
The meeting addressed campus security, crime prevention, and protection against terrorist threats in academic buildings, dormitories, and colleges. The decision to expand video surveillance was made following an assessment of high-risk areas.
Participants also discussed preventing theft, minor hooliganism, and bullying among students. Measures to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering university premises for unlawful purposes were also considered.
In addition, the parties agreed on procedures for coordinated action in emergencies such as fires and earthquakes.
