On March 27, an international scientific and practical conference on the legal support of the Collective Security Treaty Organization’s (CSTO) collective security system was held in St. Petersburg.

During the event, experts and parliamentarians from CSTO member states discussed key legislative developments aimed at strengthening regional security through 2030. Participants also reviewed recent trends in legal frameworks related to collective security.

Baibolot Abytov, head of Osh State University’s expert working group, presented a report on the university’s proposed model law, titled “On Neutralizing the Impact of Destructive Ideologies on Young People.” This document has been included in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly’s legislative program for 2026-2030.

The conference addressed contemporary security threats and explored strategies for effectively countering them within the organization.

It is worth noting that on September 10, 2024, Osh State University signed a cooperation agreement with the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
