Osh State University specialist participated in the final event of the “School of Forest Volunteers.” Abdizhapar Akkulov, Director of the Advisory Center for Mountain Ecosystem Protection and Green Innovations at Osh State University, attended the event held in Moscow from December 6 to 9.
During the program, Akkulov shared insights into the university’s environmental research efforts and climate change initiatives. As part of a team presentation, they highlighted the natural features and ecological challenges of Kyrgyzstan, ultimately earning a completion certificate.
The event also facilitated an agreement between Osh State University and the international environmental organization “ECA” to strengthen collaboration, undertake joint environmental projects, and join the global “Green Universities” initiative. Additionally, on December 16-17, the university hosted discussions on an Open Eco-Lesson and a conference focusing on the theme, “Implementation of Environmental Initiatives in Universities: Successful Experience and Development.”
