In Bishkek, as part of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, an inter-university international scientific and practical conference titled “From National Security to Global Security: A Multifaceted Analysis of Challenges and Threats to Sustainable Development in Central Asia” took place from December 11 to 14. The event brought together young scientists and students.
Osh State University contributed to the conference by organizing a round table discussion on “Neutralizing the Ideological Impact of Corruption on Civil Society” at Kyrgyz National University. Over 20 students and postgraduate participants from OshSU joined the event both online and offline, delivering presentations.
The discussions highlighted the significance of combating corruption-driven ideologies and addressing the risks of youth radicalism and extremism. Participants also explored the socio-psychological strategies needed to foster resilience among young people against ideological influence.
The conference attracted experts and scholars from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, and Tajikistan, along with representatives from government institutions.
