On December 17, Osh State University hosted an event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
The event was attended by Kursantbek Attokurov, Vice-Rector for External Relations at Osh State University, Zafarbek Akhmedov, Consul General of Uzbekistan in Osh, Meerimbek Apyshov, Head of the MFA Representative Office, as well as students, postgraduates, and faculty members from the Institute of Oriental Studies.
The celebration began with a photo exhibition showcasing the history of the ministry. Professor Baibolot Abytov and first-year student Saule Satybaldyeva delivered presentations highlighting the ministry’s historical development, its current activities, and its future prospects.
The event was jointly organized by the Institute of Oriental Studies at Osh State University and the MFA Representative Office for the Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions.
