Personnel Changes at Osh State University
Zhyldyz Artykova, previously the head of the Department for Strategic Planning of Academic Work and Educational Policy at Osh State University, has been appointed as the National Expert on School Education Reform for the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Her successor, Tolkun Papieva, who previously served as the head of academic work within the same department, was officially appointed to the vacant place by order of Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov on December 31.
Tolkun Papieva has had a distinguished career at OshSU. From 1999 to 2013, she worked as a lecturer and senior lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Technology. She later served as the Deputy Dean for Research and External Relations at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology from 2016 to 2017. Between 2017 and 2018, she held the position of Deputy Director of the Humanities and Pedagogical College. Most recently, from 2018 to 2023, she led the Department of Algebra and Geometry.
