On March 17, the Rector of Osh State University, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, signed a cooperation agreement with Arslanbek Kenenbaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enactus Kyrgyzstan and Director of BNC Finance.

The signing ceremony occurred during a meeting with the organization’s board of directors. The event was also attended by Aibek Zhangaziyev, founder of the Bellagio group of companies, and Savit Konushbaev, CEO of ElectroComplex LLC. During the meeting, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov introduced Osh State University, highlighting that the university offers an Entrepreneurship program for first-year students. He also emphasized the role of the university’s Business Park, where students develop business ideas and receive entrepreneurship training, securing over 15 million soms in investments.

Arslanbek Kenenbaev noted that Enactus Kyrgyzstan empowers students, particularly in regional areas, to establish social enterprises and improve local communities.

“The Osh State University Enactus team is one of the most accomplished in Kyrgyzstan, producing successful entrepreneurs who contribute to the country’s economy. As part of today’s events, we invite you to meet with entrepreneurs in Osh and mentor their business ideas. We aim to recruit around 500 business mentors. With your support, we plan to host the Kyrgyzstan Championship at Osh State University on May 31 and June 1,” Kenenbaev stated.

During their visit to Osh State University, Enactus Kyrgyzstan board members will deliver guest lectures for Enactus teams from universities in Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions. They will also tour the University Data Center, the Ak-Buura campus, and the Future Generation Hub centers. Additionally, they will organize business iftars for Osh entrepreneurs and hold various meetings.

Enactus is an international organization connecting young leaders with top business professionals. Currently, universities from 35 countries participate in the program. Enactus has been active in Kyrgyzstan since 1995.

The Enactus team from Osh State University has earned numerous accolades, including the title of Central Asian Champion, two-time Kyrgyzstan Champion, and seven-time runner-up. The team has represented Kyrgyzstan at the Enactus World Cup in Beijing, China, and Toronto, Canada.
