OshSU to Host First Turkic World Young Poets Festival in May
Osh State University will host the First Poetry Festival of Young Poets of the Turkic World on May 28-30. The announcement was made during a meeting at the university on March 26, attended by TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev.
The festival is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of renowned Kyrgyz poet Zholon Mamytov. Organizational matters were discussed at the meeting.
Supported by TURKSOY, the event will bring together young poets from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
