Students of Osh State University will have the opportunity to study at universities in Korea. This was announced on March 27 during a working visit to the university by Jo Chan, Director of the Education Center under the Korean Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.

During the visit, Jo Chan met with the university’s rector, Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov, and familiarized himself with the institution’s achievements and activities. Both parties discussed enhancing educational cooperation, expanding opportunities for Korean language learning, promoting academic mobility, advancing instructor training, and developing doctoral programs. It was also stated that joint initiatives would be implemented as part of the agreements.

Since 2021, Osh State University has offered a Korean language program at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication. The university currently collaborates with leading Korean institutions such as Hanbat National University, Kwangju University, Hanyang University, Andong National University, Kyungil University, Dongguk University, and Jeonbuk National University under established partnerships.
