On April 25, tourism students from the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism and Agricultural Technologies, along with the STEM Innovative College, organized a cleanup event at the panoramic area of the Papan Reservoir.
“Our aim is to promote ecological and pastoral tourism while raising awareness among visitors about the importance of respectful and clean recreation. Unfortunately, littering remains a persistent issue in the area. We plan to submit a series of proposals to the Papan Ayil Okmotu to address this problem,” said Zhanarbek Sultanov, a senior lecturer at the institute.
The event was part of efforts to boost domestic tourism and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.
