Motivational Meeting Held with Presidential Scholarship Recipients
On May 13, Osh State University hosted a motivational event titled "Traces of Success", bringing together students who were awarded presidential scholarships in the previous year.
During the meeting, the scholarship recipients shared their personal journeys in education, spoke about their efforts to achieve success, and outlined the process of applying for the prestigious scholarship. They also offered valuable advice on pursuing academic excellence and responded to audience questions. The students who asked the most thoughtful questions received prizes.
“As the academic year concludes, the top graduating students are selected as candidates for the presidential scholarship,” said Nurzhamal Mapaeva, Vice-Rector for Community Work and Youth Policy. “Additionally, Osh State University annually awards the 'Atulduk Scholarship'—one of the most significant scholarships in the country—to ten students. This scholarship provides 10,000 soms per month for ten months. Outstanding students also receive scholarships from the Academic Council. Furthermore, a new scholarship named in honor of Professor Kanybek Isakov will soon be introduced and awarded annually.”
These motivational events are regularly organized by the university’s Department of Cultural and Mass Education to inspire and guide students.
It is worth noting that in 2024, eight Osh State University students were awarded presidential scholarships. They are Munarbek Abduvaliev, Benazir Matieva, Bekbolsun Satybaev, Barsbek Aitaliev, Eshbai kyzy Feruza, Buaysha Tilebaldyeva, Kalysbek kyzy Tansuluu, and Mehribanu Nurmatova.
