A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Second Clinical Hospital of Xinjiang University and the Medical Center of Osh State University.

As part of the scientific and research collaboration between the two institutions, successful negotiations were held regarding the construction of a fifth laboratory. An agreement on the project’s implementation was formalized on May 12 during an international summit in Xinjiang, China.

The initiative aims to introduce advanced technologies, boost the scientific capabilities of both sides, and enhance the quality of medical services. Additional agreements include provisions for experience sharing among doctors, academic mobility for medical residents, and improved training programs for healthcare professionals.

During the visit, Xinjiang University’s rector, Yang Xinlin, was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Worker of Osh State University” in recognition of her significant contributions to medicine and education.

These agreements are expected to strengthen the strategic and friendly partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China while deepening collaboration in medical education and scientific research.
