Osh State University Triumphs at “One Step” Debate Tournament
The “One Step” debate tournament brought together students from universities across southern Kyrgyzstan to discuss strategies for combating corruption. Participants included teams from Osh State University, Osh Technological University, Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, Batken State University, and the Ordo Debate Club. In total, 10 teams competed, presenting arguments grounded in analysis and factual evidence.
Osh State University’s Azimut team claimed the top prize following a series of intense and thought-provoking rounds. The Sky Life team from Batken State University earned first place, while Ordo Debate Club’s Kok Zhal team secured second. Osh State University’s Leader team came in third. All winning teams received diplomas, trophies, and valuable prizes.
The tournament was held as part of a 16-day anti-corruption campaign aimed at fostering a culture of integrity among youth and promoting active civic participation.
