Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev Reviews Construction of OshSU Medical Clinic

On May 23, during a working visit to Osh, Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of the medical clinic at Osh State University.

The facility, a seven-story structure covering 20,000 square meters, is designed to accommodate 312 patient beds. It will also feature a laboratory, a day hospital, four operating rooms, a 300-seat lecture hall, and 12 classrooms.

The new clinic aims not only to expand and upgrade the university’s medical facilities but also to prioritize safety, innovation, integration, and modern design. It is expected to offer inclusive, energy-efficient, and patient-centered services with an emphasis on efficiency and aesthetic appeal.

Specialized departments will include liver, kidney, and bone marrow transplants, as well as microsurgery, intensive care, surgery, hepatology, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, nephrology, hematology, and diagnostics.

The project is part of a broader initiative to enhance medical training and produce highly qualified healthcare professionals capable of delivering advanced medical care to patients in southern Kyrgyzstan, particularly those with liver and kidney conditions.

As of now, over half of the construction is complete, with the clinic expected to be fully operational by the end of 2025.
