
Myrzayim Askarbekova, a fourth-year student at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Osh State University, became a finalist in the international competition “Pedagogical Shift.”
The competition brought together 850 students from 60 countries, with the final round taking place in Russia from May 4 to May 24. Representing Kyrgyzstan, Myrzayim earned recognition in the category of “Best Methodological Presentation with Acting Skills.”
“I had the chance to visit the unique Interdom school in Ivanovo, Russia. Each day was filled with valuable lessons, inspiring lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative projects with students from across the globe. The experience is hard to put into words,” she shared. “We also visited Moscow, explored the historic city of Vladimir from the ‘Golden Ring’, and hiked Mount Levitan in Plyos. These three weeks in Ivanovo were among the most unforgettable moments of my life.”
In addition to this achievement, Myrzayim is a recipient of the prestigious Kalmamat Abdiev scholarship and previously earned a first-class diploma in an international art competition marking the 225th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin. She has also actively participated in numerous international contests.
