On May 26, a delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), headed by Zheng Wu, Director of the ADB’s Resident Mission in Kyrgyzstan, visited the “Advanced Experience” Center at the Industrial and Pedagogical College of Osh State University to observe its operations.

During the visit, the guests explored an exhibition showcasing a variety of food items and creative products prepared by students from different departments of the college. A fashion show featuring original works by young designers was also held. The delegation was briefed on the center’s progress and achievements over the past three years.

The ADB representatives commended the center’s activities and expressed interest in continuing and strengthening cooperation.

Established in 2022 with financial backing from the Asian Development Bank, the “Advanced Experience” Center includes sewing workshops and software development facilities. It provides hands-on learning opportunities for students specializing in garment-making and programming, allowing them to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. Products made by students are available for purchase at the university store.

Notably, the Industrial and Pedagogical College of Osh State University recently topped the country’s first-ever national ranking of secondary vocational education institutions.
