
On April 11, Shirin Kostyuk, Director of the Institute of Journalism and Communication at Kyrgyz National University named after Zhusup Balasagyn, delivered a guest lecture to journalism students at Osh State University.
Her lecture, titled “The Role of TV in the Formation of Public Consciousness,” focused on the evolving media landscape, the influence of media on society, and the ethical responsibilities of journalists in the digital age. She also shared insights from her professional experience, emphasizing the personal responsibility journalists bear in shaping public opinion.
Earlier, on April 3, Shirin Kostyuk visited Osh State University as part of a delegation led by the rector of Kyrgyz National University, Dogdurbek Chontoev. During the visit, the two universities renewed their cooperation agreement.
