Conference Explores Legal Challenges and Human Rights Implications of Artificial Intelligence

A scientific and practical conference titled “Current Issues of Legal Regulation in the Use of Artificial Intelligence” was held during the scientific week at the Institute of History and Law, focusing on the impact of artificial intelligence on human rights.

Participants discussed the pressing legal challenges surrounding AI, the intersection of law and technology, and the implications for human rights in the context of rapid technological advancement. The event brought together representatives from the Osh City Court, the City Prosecutor’s Office, the Osh Department of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, leadership from Osh State University, heads of regional higher education institutions, faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduates.

The conference featured presentations, dynamic discussions, and a Q&A session. Participants also offered proposals on the subject, culminating in the adoption of a resolution.

The event was organized by the Department of Civil Law and Process.
