
A delegation from Osh State University, led by Timur Israilov, Director of the Institute of Economics, Business and Management, and Bektur Azimov, Director of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies, took part in an international conference hosted by North American University from May 7 to 9.
The conference brought together representatives from universities around the world, offering a platform for knowledge exchange and discussions on future collaboration.
During the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Osh State University and North American University, focusing on the implementation of joint educational programs. The agreement includes plans to launch a 1+1 double degree program and a 2+2 bachelor’s degree program.
These programs will be offered in the fields of economics, management, and computer science, marking a significant step toward strengthening academic ties between the two institutions.
In addition to attending the conference, the delegation also toured NASA—the United States’ premier aerospace research agency known for its leadership in space exploration, scientific innovation, and technological advancement.
