Osh State University and the Turkish Language Training Center (TTEÖMER) under the Turkish Embassy in Kyrgyzstan have signed updated amendments to their cooperation protocol focused on Turkish language instruction. The signing ceremony was attended by TTEÖMER Director Ilyas Sut and the Rector of Osh State University, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov.

According to the updated agreement, new Turkish language courses will be launched at Osh State University, taught by instructors from Turkey. These courses will be free and accessible to all students, including international ones, with students only required to purchase textbooks. The Turkish Language Training Center will provide all necessary teaching materials, while the university will dedicate special classrooms for the courses.

Dedicated learning spaces have already been arranged at the Higher School of International Educational Programs and the Institute of Oriental Studies. Turkish language instruction is currently being conducted at the Faculty of Theology, the Higher School of International Educational Programs, the Institute of Oriental Studies, and the Imam-Hatip Lyceum.

This expanded cooperation aims to enhance educational ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey and offer students valuable opportunities to study the Turkish language.
