Osh State University has opened a representative office at Aybusak University in Yerevan, Armenia. The decision was approved by the University's Academic Council on June 29.

The new representative office will assist Armenian citizens in applying to OshSU's residency (medical specialization) programs and continuing professional education courses. It will also facilitate student exchange programs, distance learning, and cooperation with clinical training bases and medical institutions.

The primary goal of the representative office is to strengthen international cooperation, expand educational opportunities, and enhance academic partnerships.

Currently, nearly 20 graduates of the Faculty of Medicine at Aybusak University are enrolled in residency programs at OshSU's Center for Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education. They are specializing in dentistry, surgical dentistry, dermatovenereology, and diagnostic radiology.

The two universities signed a cooperation memorandum in 2025. As part of the agreement, OshSU representatives visited Armenia in January 2026 to monitor the clinical training of the 20 residents studying under the partnership.
