Guest Lecture on History Held at OshSU
On October 9, a scientific and practical guest lecture titled “Current Issues in Historical Studies in Kyrgyzstan” was held at OshSU’s Institute of History and Law.
The event was attended by master’s students, undergraduate students, and young researchers specializing in history. The lecture was delivered by Kaana Aidarkul, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, colonel of the police, Honored Worker of Education, and member of the International Association of Women Police.
She provided an in-depth overview of the theoretical and methodological issues facing contemporary historical studies in Kyrgyzstan, the objective examination of historical facts, and new approaches to their analysis.
She also discussed current challenges in studying the history of Kyrgyzstan and highlighted important and strategic areas of research for future historians.
