Osh State University Trains Social Work Specialists in Innovative Practices

Social work specialists from seven districts of the Osh region participated in a specialized training program at Osh State University from March 17 to March 22. This 72-hour course focused on developing scientific and practical skills related to social work competencies and innovative practices.

Designed to enhance the professionalism of social workers, facilitate knowledge exchange, and strengthen collaboration in the field, the training was titled “The Future and Modernization of Social Work in Kyrgyzstan: Personnel Policy and Practice.” It was conducted as part of the country’s second winter school on social work and was organized by the Department of Social Work and the Center for Advanced Training at the Institute of Economics, Business, and Management of Osh State University.

At the conclusion of the course, participants put forward proposals for implementing joint projects.
