OshSU Hosts International Adult Education Webinar
From June 23 to 25, Osh State University's Business Park hosted an international webinar titled "Swiss Approaches to Quality Assurance and Professional Development of Trainers in Adult Education: eduQua and AdA" within the framework of the "Cheber: Skills Development in Kyrgyzstan" project.
The event was held in a hybrid format, bringing together representatives of higher education institutions, educational organizations, adult learning centers, business support centers in Osh and Manas, the Youth of Osh youth organization, experts, and other stakeholders.
The main objective of the webinar was to introduce participants to Switzerland's successful practices in ensuring the quality of adult education and the professional development of trainers.
The Business Park was responsible for participant outreach, registration, communication, coordination, and providing all necessary logistical support for the webinar.
International experts Hans Schustereder, Christian Wagner, Altynai Moldoeva, Eldiyar Sydykov, and Guljamal Chokmorova delivered presentations during the event. In addition, experts from the Swiss Federation for Adult Learning (SVEB) joined online to share their expertise and best practices.
During the webinar, participants were introduced to Switzerland's eduQua quality management system for adult education and the AdA trainer qualification framework. Experts presented modern approaches to evaluating the quality of educational services, institutional certification, internal quality management, and the professional development of trainers.
The participants also discussed the development of framework curricula for the construction, HoReCa, agriculture, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence sectors. Special attention was given to the possibilities of adapting Swiss educational practices to the Kyrgyz context.
The webinar provided an important platform for experience sharing between international experts and representatives of Kyrgyzstan's education community, while fostering discussions on innovative approaches to quality assurance in the adult education system.
