In a heartwarming gesture of appreciation, the Men's Association of Osh State University hosted a celebratory evening for the dedicated women educators working in OshSU.
At the event, Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov conveyed congratulations on behalf of all gentlemen of the university. He highlighted the active participation of women within the university, noting that 60 percent of the total faculty members are women. Furthermore, he shared impressive statistics regarding women’s achievements in academia, with nearly half of the university’s doctoral degree holders and more than half of its candidates being women. Notably, in the academic year 2023-2024, 23 proud female scholars were awarded advanced degrees.
The evening also served as a platform to recognize the invaluable contributions of women to the development of Osh State University and their dedicated efforts to provide quality education to students. Those who actively participated in the celebration commemorating International Mother Language Day on February 21st has been honored with the university’s emblem. Awards including “For Merits to Labor,” honorary diplomas, and financial rewards were presented to deserving recipients.
The festive occasion featured a vibrant concert program curated by faculty deans and college directors. Attendees were treated to performances by esteemed gentlemen leading the university’s faculties and colleges, showcasing their talents through songs, dances, and recitations from the epic poem “Manas,” creating an evening filled with joy and enthusiasm.
