Osh State University recently hosted an international scientific and practical conference in celebration of its 85th anniversary and the 50th year of Associate Professor Abdygany Abduvaliev’s academic career. The event, titled “Issues of Mathematics, Physics, and Information Technology in Education,” brought together experts from Kyrgyzstan and abroad, with some participating online.
The conference featured five sections where over 150 reports were delivered. Participants highlighted Abduvaliev’s significant contributions to both Osh State University and the field of mathematics, as well as his role in mentoring young professionals. A resolution was adopted to summarize the scientific and practical discussions.
The same day also marked Abduvaliev’s 70th birthday, with congratulations from prominent figures including the President’s representative in Osh, academic members of the National Academy of Sciences, and consuls from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Rossotrudnichestvo.
Born in Bek-Abad, Suzak district, Jalal-Abad region, Abduvaliev holds the title of “Honored Worker of Education of Kyrgyzstan” and is a recipient of the Lenin Komsomol Prize, as well as a candidate in physical and mathematical sciences.
