OshSU Hosts Dr. Fakher Karim Rahim for Research Training
Dr. Fakher Karim Rahim, a professor from Al-Noor University in Iraq, is conducting a week-long training for lecturers at Osh State University. During the training, he will share his expertise in writing scientific articles, data collection and analysis, and literature management. He also guides participants on the process of writing articles for international scientific journals indexed in the Scopus database.
At the conclusion of the training, a group of researchers will be formed at OshSU to advise their colleagues at the university using resources from the Scopus center. Meanwhile, Dr. Rahim will assist and oversee the publication of articles by the OshSU faculty in the Scopus database.
On October 30, Dr. Rahim met with the rector of OshSU, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, to discuss the inclusion of OshSU’s scientific journals in Scopus. During this meeting, the rector invited Dr. Rahim to take on the role of visiting professor at the Faculty of International Medicine.
Dr. Fakher Karim Rahim is recognized as one of the most cited scientists globally, with 60,000 citations and over 353 published articles in peer-reviewed journals, achieving an H-index of 62.
